Restringing Service

Traditionally good quality pearl necklaces and bracelets are strung on silk thread, silk is a lovely material, perfect for the job, but over time with wear the silk thread may stretch or get discoloured, this will result in the need for your precious pearls to be restrung by one of our expert stringers.

We will be delighted to do this for you at a cost of £36 for any necklace of 18” or under with a £1.00 additional fee for each extra necklace inch.

If you would like a change of clasp on your necklace whilst it is being restrung just let us know and we will discuss your requirements with you. The basic price for restringing an 18” necklace and adding a standard 9ct or sterling silver clasp is £66. Any special request clasps will be quoted for separately.

Please complete the Restringing Form and send it to us along with your necklace. Alternatively, please enclose a letter with your necklace stating your requirements and we will call you on receipt.

Once your necklace has been restrung we will contact you for payment details and your pearls will be returned to you via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service.
